I don’t think Basque Country it’s the best place to live though… for ETA and other stuff, people there have fear of say what they think..
Anyway back to the topic, I don’t know where to buy property if not in a local property agency (websites about this are really bad here in Spain)

The best thing to do is take a trip there. You will be ripped off by companies who sell property to foreigners.
Once you pick an area, by meeting locals you will get the best information that is not just a sales pitch.
